Mathematics is erroneously thought of as an abstract subject with a world of symbols & notations by many. To reduce fear of subject & make it interesting the concept of mathematics laboratory was introduced by C.B.S.E.
Mathematics Laboratory is a place where students can learn, explore, stimulate, interest, develop favorable attitude towards mathematics through a variety of activities using different materials
The laboratory allows & encourages the students to think, discuss with each other & assimilates the concepts in more effective manner. It helps the students to build interest & confidence in learning the subject. It provides scope for individual participation in the process of learning & becoming autonomous learners. The laboratory provides opportunity to exhibit the relatedness of mathematical concepts with everyday life.
